DISRUPTOR 2285

Klingon Disruptor circa 2285. This model disruptor no longer uses sound waves to disrupt it's target, but instead uses a focused beam to deliver a molecularly distabalizing energy beam. This model has an additional power module in the form of a shoulder stock that can be attached to form a Disruptor Rifle.
The Klingon Disruptor was used in ST:3 The Search for Spock. The props were created for the movie, and were modified for use in ST:6. The modified versions saw extensive use in TNG, and DS9. Note: the barrel on this prop has been extended from it's original design.
