ISOLINEAR CHIP

The new breed of Starships that were introduced in 2372, which included the Saber Runner, Norway, Sovereign, and Akira Class Starship, all use this style isolinear chip. Improvements in design, and overall, have forced a redesign of the storage medium.
This version of the isolinear chip was produce for use in ST: Nemesis. Up until then, we saw larger versions of the chips, on Picards desk but not the standard size smaller chips.
