Introduced in the mid 2360's the medical kit here was used through the 2380's that we know of. A door on the bottom, housed storage room for medical equipment and supplies, while the upper portion housed the tricorder storage area in a recessed holster. The rest of the upper portion of the kit housed a small computer that was accessable via tricorder interface. Several upgrades were made over the years ranging from materials used to computational capabilities, which changed the overall look of the unit.
