Phaser 2

An upgrade of the Phaser 1 (black unit attached to top), the Phaser 2 increased the maximum output, and range of the Phaser 1, while also increasing the energy storage capacity and incorporating a removable powercell. The Phaser 2 had an additional 3 settings over the P1's 6 settings. However the P1 housed the targeting site with in it. With out the P1 attached to the P2 body the P2 could not function.

This Prop was used in several variations through out the Original Star Trek television series. The version pictured here is the version used in season 2 of Star Trek TOS.
