TYPE 2C PHASER

The Dominion War was a hard fought war. At the end almost forty percent of the total military presence of those forces involved were gone. The Cardassian Military was decimated, and Starfleet had taken heavy losses. Through out the conflict a weapons race was on. The results were deployed just after the end of the war. The new Type 2 Phaser employed massive advancements in material developement, as well as increased performance, and less overall material consumption, while still having a more rugged chasis for the this phaser than previous models.
