STARFLEET TRICORDER CIRCA 2271 A.D.
TRICORDER

The Tricorder model was a standard issue item in 2271, widley being used in the field by Starfleet in several configuartions. It was this new tricorder design that was used aboard the newly redesigned and Refit Constitution Class Starship Enterprise.

Several hero Tricorder props were made for ST: The Motion Picture. Each one had it's own configuration of blinking lights, opening access door, and surface button details were moved around.
