TRICORDER TR 590 MK X

The TR 590 Medical standard Tricorder boasts 441 sensors, in it's design. This Tricorder is the latest in the 500 series of design. It's superior capabilities sacrifice nothing except for weight. Being smaller than the TR 560 series, this Tricorder has a larger screen, touch control surfaces and a vastly improved numer of sesnsing devices. When this model was approved by starfleet in 2373, virtually all the TR 560 series Tricorders were replaced overnight, almost as soon as they could be replicated.

Originally used in ST: First Contact, this Tricorder prop some how earned the name, "The Voyager Tricorder." It was used extensivley in ST:Voyager, DS9, First Contact, Insurrection, and briefly in Nemesis, when examining Data.
